- Clear polyester for sealing 8-well row of a 96-well plate or a single PCR 8-tube strip
- Clear Polyester Seal strips minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage
- An economical and more user-friendly alternative to strip-caps; no more sore thumbs and fingers
- Ideal for PCR, qPCR (real-time) and storage
- Each sheet contains 8 SealStrips on a continuous backing liner for ease of use
- Strips can be peeled individually or two-at-a-time for increased efficiency
- Strips can be used to selectively cover one row of a plate to prevent accidental pipetting or to re-seal rows that have been pierced
- Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage
- SealStrips remove easily and cleanly with no splash back as can occur with strip-caps
- Features two removable end-tabs with perforations for ease of handling, application and removal
- 2.0mil clear polyester film
- Temperature Range: -40°C to +120°
- Certified DNase- & RNase- free
- A non-locking workstation is recommended for sample prep (e.g. 96 round-well PCR plate or deep well block)
- Removal of the end-tabs at the perforations is recommended before cycling
- A final sealing step is highly recommended in the thermal cycler because 8-tube strips flex during handling
